Bass player and composer

He began playing in some jazz groups in his city (where he was born), Malaga, where he plays representing Andalucia.
The first was an experimental group named "Minoria Desencantada". He was at the beginning the compositor of some songs. He partipated in Buenos Aires Jazz Festival (Mardel 92) and also in Madrid festival.
He was the winner of "Muestra de Jovenes Creadores Españoles (Young Spanish Creators Show)" in 1992 in wich he participated with the famous Piano Performance José Segovia, representing Spain into the european show.

He has given support to many flamenco groups not only in concerts but also recording with Dieguito "el Cigala", la Tana, Montse Cortés (Bienal de Sevilla), Aurora, La barberia del Sur, Jose Antonio Galícia, Javier Barón, Grupo del Foro, Nono García y Tito Alcedo, Antonio Canales among others.

He belonged to the last Triana group in which he had the opportunity to record his last CD "Un jardin electrico". He was part of Niña Pastori since 1993 to 1999.
He has played also With his group JJ bandin Fitec, Málaga Jazz Festival, Madrid Jazz Festival, Kazakistan, Amsterdam, Portugal among others.

He has alternated his musical work not only with Jazz musicians but also with flamenco musicians. He has participated in some tv programs such as "El club de la comedia" and "El club de Flo".
In the last year he has been in a perfomance tour with "Radio Tarifa", one of the places has been the Royal Albert Hall, in Barbican and in some of the best European festivals, some of the world music festivals, acting with his JJ flamenco band.
He has recorded 2 cds with JJ Flamenco Band his last compact disc was made in 2007
